Spectro Spectrum Analyzer consists of a Frequency Analyzer and Octave Analyzer with the ability to perform real-time acoustic analysis on your PC with a sound card. The Frequency Analyzer computes the averaged auto power spectrum using RMS or peak hold averaging with a linear or exponential weighting. The Octave Analyzer computes the averaged one octave or 1/3 octave spectrum using RMS or peak hold averaging with a linear or exponential weighting. Linear, A-weighted, B-weighted or C-weighted amplitudes can be chosen for both FFT and Octave analysis. All time history and spectrum results are displayed in graphical format with cursor tools for precision amplitude analysis; results can also be saved in a text file. The program supports 16 Bit Rate and a sampling rates of 44.1 kHz.

Spectro Octave Analyzer software provides you with the ability to perform octave measurements using your PC or laptop sound card. The program computes, in real-time, the averaged 1 octave and 1/3 octave spectrum recorded by a microphone, connected to the sound card. RMS or peak hold analysis can be performed with linear or exponential averaging, applying the most popular window functions. Butterworth filters are used to estimate the sum of the energy for the octave bands; and A-weighting; B-weighting and C-weighting can be applied to the octave amplitudes. Octave bands are displayed in a bar graph and the overall levels are also calculated. The program also provides cursor tools for precision amplitude analysis. Results can be saved in a text file and imported into a spreadsheet program for additional analysis and presentation. The program supports 16 Bite Rate and the sampling frequency is 44.1 kHz. The software is compatible with Windows 2000/Windows XP.

This program is an audio analyzer with FFT and n-th octave frequency analyzers and oscilloscope. The octave analyzer can show the frequency spectrum at 12th, 6th, 3rd and full octave resolution. (A standard license supports all resolutions). With the FFT frequency analyzer you can see the spectrum on a linear scale, which can be useful for harmonics and other analysis tasks.
