It is not a secret that it is very difficult to study disk space usage of such difficult organism as PC. However with Directory Size program you can make it for a few minutes. The program advantage is its evident character, convenient interface, simplicity in usage.
The program consists of four windows which visually show disk space usage and carry out some function. The top left program window show a tree of folders of the catalogue which structure you study – beginning from an usual folder and finishing a drive. Besides, you will find the size of each folder in this window.
The top right window allows receiving more detailed information on each folder at the left. Do you want to learn what folders and files the directory consists of? Do you want to learn, what percentage share in the general size of the directory they have? Do you want to learn quantity of folders and files in the folders of the second level? Directory Size will help you with it.
If figures are difficult for you, use the bottom right window to receive graphic representation of disk space usage. The diagramme shows structural distribution of each directory.
